1. Introduction

TranscriLive places great importance on the protection of your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). It covers the TranscriLive website as well as the TranscriLive mobile app. TranscriLive does not collect any audio data. Transcriptions are performed in real time without recording or storing voice data.

2. Data we collect

We only collect the following data:

• Account data, if you create one: email address and password (stored encrypted). An account is only needed for the Pro and Studio plans
• Subscription information (Pro or Studio plan, status). Payment is handled through Apple In-App Purchase: we never receive your payment details
• Data submitted through the contact form (name, email, topic, message), used solely to process your request and reply to you

Important: TranscriLive does not collect, record or store any audio data. Transcriptions are performed in real time without retaining voice data.

3. TranscriLive mobile app

The TranscriLive mobile app (iOS) runs entirely locally, on your device. Speech recognition, punctuation and translation are performed directly on your device's chip (Neural Engine): your voice is never transmitted over the Internet or to our servers.

• The app can be used for free without creating an account. No tracking, no advertising identifier, no analytics tool.
• The microphone is only used while listening is active, which you start and stop yourself. No audio recording is kept.
• Transcripts, glossaries and customizations remain stored locally on your device, under your control.
• Wi-Fi broadcasting of subtitles happens directly on the local network, from device to device, without going through remote servers.
• Exports (PDF, SRT/VTT, minutes, etc.) are generated locally and are only shared at your initiative.

An account (email address and password) is only needed to subscribe to a Pro or Studio plan. Payment is processed by Apple through In-App Purchase: we never have access to your payment details. You can delete your account and its data at any time directly from within the app, or by writing to contact@ambassadia.com.

4. Purpose of processing

Your data is used solely to:

• Create and manage your account and your subscription (Pro, Studio)
• Ensure the security of our services
• Contact you for customer support when needed
• Comply with our legal and accounting obligations

5. Data retention

Personal data (account data, subscription information and contact form data) is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted when you delete it, subject to accounting and tax obligations (up to 5 years). No audio data is retained, as TranscriLive does not collect audio data.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Our servers are secured, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access to your data
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object

8. Cookies

The TranscriLive website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics tools. Only your language preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the site can be displayed in your chosen language. The mobile app uses no cookies or trackers.

9. Data transfers

Your data is hosted within the European Union. We do not transfer your data outside the EU without appropriate safeguards compliant with the GDPR.

10. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any change will be published on this page with a new update date.
